QRPF Community Loft

C McDonald will be hosting a QRPF Community Loft for 2026.

The QRPF management committee will govern the loft.

This means all participants will need to be members of the QRPF.

Intake will commence on 18 October 2025, and the loft can accommodate up to 300 birds.

This is the first time the QRPF is hosting such an event and we will learn & improve each year based on support.

These are the basic guidelines

The community loft pigeons will be released with the QRPF race birds

The community loft pigeons will participate in the QRPF championship points in the form of syndicates

The cost will be $30 per bird for the season. (includes food, training, medication, race entry etc)

Members who assist with basketing/cleaning will receive a discounted entry per bird.

All payments will be paid to the QRPF Community Club Loft – C McDonald

The QRPF will invoice the QRPF Community Club Loft for race and membership fees.

C McDonald will implement the management program for the birds and make all training and loft management decisions based on his pigeon racing experience.

Members will have the option to visit the loft and watch the birds come in from each race.

Members are welcome to come and assist with basketing at the Logan City Pigeon Club each week.

The community loft pigeons have the option to enter the QRPF breeders’ plate race, provided they comply with the rules. (See QRPF Breeders Plate Rules)

B Snyman/C McDonald will send out more detailed rules once the loft is up.
